A special note about our delivery terms & Conditions

Notice Me products are delivered by independent courier companies on our behalf. Experience has shown us that notice boards do occasionally suffer breakages and damage due to their size.

In order to protect our customers and ourselves, we ask that you follow our delivery terms and conditions as highlighted in red below.

By following these simple terms, damaged goods can be replaced quickly without need for investigation. Thank you for your cooperation.

Conditions of Sale

Commercial customers should be aware that by placing an order you are entering into a contract of sale with notice Me, and the terms and conditions of sale form part of that contract and override any conditions of purchase on the part of the buyer unless explicitly agreed in writing by Notice Me.

Pt. 1 Payment

Pre-payment is required for non-account customers. Payment methods include Credit & Debit cards, BACS, CHAPS & cheque’s. Credit facilities & the invoicing of one-off orders may be made available to state schools & colleges, NHS, Government offices and charities etc. by arrangement. Please contact us for details.

All prices on our website are plus vat. 

Pt. 2 Payment by Cheque

Please make cheque’s payable to Notice Me. Either send our completed order form or enclose your official or written order with a copy of our quotation (if applicable) and send to Notice Me. 2 Glenister House, Avondale Drive, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 3PP.

Pt. 3 Payment By BACS

Please request our BACS details. Email or post a confirmation of your order requirement. Email us once the payment has actually been made so we can check for it’s receipt 1-3 days after. Remember to let us have your delivery & invoice address plus telephone contact numbers!

Pt. 4 Delivery Time & Conditions

Occasionally we may exceed the estimated delivery date due to heavy workloads etc. While every effort is made to ensure orders are dispatched promptly, no guarantee of a particular delivery date or turnaround time is made. Delivery lead times, for example “5 Days”, are working days, weekends are not included in any of our lead times.

Pt. 5 Delivery Terms

a) All deliveries must be signed for. It is your (the buyer) responsibility to ensure your staff or anyone signing or accepting the goods on your behalf, including any deliveries to a third party, are also aware of these conditions. The outer packaging must be inspected at time of delivery. (There is no need to open the box while the driver is there as he won’t have time to wait). If the packaging is damaged or marked in any way this must be noted on the couriers delivery note when /if signing for the delivery. Deliveries must NOT be signed for as “Unchecked”. Any Delivery note marked “Unchecked”, or any delivery signed for in good condition (i.e. with no mention of damage) and later reported as damaged in transit, will not be replaced free of charge. All instances of damage should be reported to Notice Me direct immediately, but within a maximum of two working days. Where there is no visible damage to the outer Packaging (Cardboard box etc.), the outer packaging should be retained for inspection until box contents have been examined and should only be discarded when you are certain no transit damage has occurred. We may need to see it if the products inside it are damaged.
b) You should only sign if the correct number of items are being delivered. If unsure ask the courier to see the consignment note where it states “Items delivered” and make sure the number agrees with the number of parcels being delivered. If the delivery is short, you should include a note alongside your signature with something like “1 short”  “2 out of 3 items only”. Remember that when you sign a courier’s receipt, you are making a declaration that you agree what has been stated is in fact what has been delivered.
Any obvious transit damage or production faults should be reported immediately to Notice Me, but within a maximum of 2 working days in order to claim free replacements.

Delivery to Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland & Other UK Islands 

c) Some UK locations, for example Northern Scotland, Northern Ireland and other UK Islands will usually incur an extra delivery charge, please contact us for a delivery quote before placing your order.

Pt. 6 Prices

Prices quoted do not form a contract, we reserve the right to amend prices or correct prices submitted in error. This Includes numbered estimates, prices written in an email and prices on our website and online store. All prices in our estimates, quotes or methods are valid for 60 days.

Pt. 7 Custom Made Products

Custom made cut to size products are manufactured to a cutting tolerance of +/- 5mm. Notice Me will not take responsibility of incorrect sizes / non fitting boards within this 5mm tolerance and will not replace or refund boards if ordered incorrectly.

Pt. 8 Returns Policy

a) Any item whose description on our estimates or invoices which contain the word “custom” is non-returnable & non-refundable. (Except where the item is either faulty, supplied incorrectly or damaged in transit (providing the condition in Part 5 is met)). For all other items, where Notice Me is not at fault, cancellation and returns are at the sole discretion of Notice Me. Where returns are agreed, there will be a collection and re-delivery to the factory courier charge (unless the item can be posted in which case postage and insurance will be covered by the customer). Costs will be provided upon receiving a return request. A re-stocking charge will also be applicable with the amount depending on the item, again details on request. Items damaged by the customer or damaged in transit by their own arranged return method, will not be refunded. Non account customers will need to pay collection fees in advance of any collection or refund being processed. Returns are not accepted beyond a 28 day period from the date on the invoice. Any refund due will only be paid once the order has been returned to us or to our trade supplier.

b) Notice me cannot guarantee that fabric colours used on our notice boards will always be identical. The manufacturers of the fabrics state there may be minor colour differences between each batch produced. Therefore we cannot accept colour variations as being ‘faulty’ and boards with this variation will not be replaced or refunded..

Pt. 9 Acceptance

Acceptance of your quotation (i.e. placing an order) means acceptance of the above terms and conditions and becomes a contract of sale. The Notice Me terms & conditions will override any terms and conditions of the buyer. Except where Notice Me has agreed to specific terms of the buyer in writing. Notice Me reserves the right to decline any order without reason.

Pt. 10 Cancellation


Consumers, i.e. private individuals, (not businesses) have the right to cancel an order they made up to seven days after the goods being delivered and receive full refunds. Providing those goods are not specially made bespoke goods. Deliveries which exceed a 30 day delivery period, may also be cancelled and refunded. Where the items have already been delivered, the buyer is responsible for the return collection and re-delivery to factory costs (except where the product is faulty or incorrect).


Items specially manufactured and/or described as ‘custom’ cannot be cancelled if manufacturing has begun or been completed. Cancellation of custom items remains at the sole discretion of Notice Me.
